Our history
Nearly 30 years ago, Kindly Craftsmen founder David Hanna bought the apartment building he had lived in as a child. After long days as a police officer, he restored that building and learned how to take something old and make it beautiful and functional again.
For the next 15 years, he honed his renovation skills on commercial and residential fixer-uppers. After his law-enforcement career, he went full time into remodeling homes through practical yet beautiful improvements for homeowners across North Jersey.
In 2023, David’s remodeling company became a true family business when he teamed up with his son D. J. under the name Kindly Craftsmen.
